thoughts and such

The place where I work has been changing a lot. They have laid off and fired all the old staff that I knew just about and all the new faces make me feel like a stranger when I make rounds. I rarely see a face that I recognize and going to work everyday scared it will be my turn next to be laid off is as nerve wracking as can be. I have been working on my degree and I keep thinking of all the money I have spent and wondering why I didn't just save it and have it now that the economy is so uncertain. It is hard to convice myself sometimes that an education is an investment.
